HOPE Squad Benefits

Kemp and Associates is a forensic genealogy firm serving clients in the US and internationally. A member of the Better Business Bureau, Kemp and Associates was founded in 1966 and strives to locate missing heirs to ensure they receive family assets that belong to them when an estate is settled. In addition to the identification and location of heirs, Kemp & Associates is a supporter of charitable organizations such as Hannah's Hope Fund and Hope4Utah.

Hope4Utah, a 501(c)(3) educational organization based in Utah, engages in suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention for adolescents. The organization employs its Circles4Hope model, which coordinates school programs, community connections, and mental health partnerships with suicide prevention techniques. In addition, Hope4Utah operates HOPE Squads.

HOPE Squads are groups of students who have received training in suicide prevention. In coordination with school advisors, HOPE Squads identify and report on any students who may be at risk of suicide and provide peer support and friendship. Although they are not counselors, HOPE Squad members do receive evidence-based training on how to save lives and seek adult assistance.
